   Bachelor’s Degree in related field, and prior community and/or public health experience. Master’s degree preferred. Demonstrated written, verbal and organization skills. Supports the philosophy of professionalism, teamwork and supportive communication. PC literate, including a high level of comfort with word processing, database development/management, needs assessment activities. Possesses strong interpersonal skills and is comfortable providing program updates and announcements to groups of health and human service professionals in the community. MAJOR JOB DUTIES: The Director will oversee all aspects of grant administration as well as supervise the two TAG Coordinators and one Program Assistant for the CBAPP grant. The Director will further the mission of the CBAPP initiative which is as follows: a.) Promote abstinence-first/delay the on-set of sexual activity among adolescents; b.) Expand educational, vocational and economic opportunities for teens to provide alternatives to sexual activity and to develop skills that can lead to higher earning power and reduce the need for public assistance; c.) Ensure access to comprehensive family planning and reproductive health care services to prevent pregnancies, STI’s and HIV. Perform comprehensive, ongoing needs assessments of CBAPP delivery system and make recommendations for implementation of policy and program in response to assessed need. Develop an annual budget in conjunction with HHHN finance staff and the Board. Organize and participate in regional/community events and activities designed to further the program’s mission. Full-Time, days, M-F grant-funded through December 31, 2010 with the potential to continue.
